MALBEC

If we speak geologically of this area of ​​El Cepillo, it is the lower part of the micro region where wine growing has historically developed, an area that is characterized by the presence of open soils, less than one meter deep on a stony and limestone base. The vines grow over a first loamy, sandy and limestone horizon; and for want there are conglomerates of much thicker stones. Here we find ourselves within the lowest areas of the Uco Valley, 1000 meters high. It is one of the most extreme and challenging areas of Mendoza due to the province's coldest climate for wine production. These typical wines from El Cepillo present notes of very ripe black fruits mixed with herbal and floral touches, typical of mountain wines.

MALBEC

Gualtallary is a desert and rocky Tupungato paradise, this vineyard located at 1450 meters above sea level, the maximum height for Mendocino cultivation, the vineyards enjoy a climate that is normally colder than in other areas of the province, thanks to this, Gualtallary is synonymous with fresh and tense wines. The character of the wine cannot be explained solely from the height, a very important factor is the profile of the soil, alluvial, poor, stony and with an important presence of calcium carbonate and sand. This final combination of cold climate and limestone soils results in an intense, philosophical, mineral wine with good structure, concentration and at the same time elegant for prolonged aging. The difference between Gualtallary wines is their freshness, which is due to their natural acidity.

MICRO TERROIRS > VISTA FLORES

MALBEC

Viñedo located in the upper area of ​​Vista Flores at 1,200 meters high, in Tunuyan, central area of ​​the Uco Valley. Vista Flores is on the alluvial edge of the Tunuyán River, so there we find stony soil, the soils in the upper zone of this region are calcareous, even heavier than the other micro terroirs that we are studying, this indicates that it is larger concentration of lime, clay, and organic components. This is why our wine is intensely concentrated and expressive, fat, round, complex and elegant. It is a region that highlights the potential to achieve unique and diverse wines.
