VINEYARDS
MALBEC: from Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Los Arboles and Vista Flores Districts. Height of the vineyards 1000 to 1200 meters above sea level CABERNET SAUVIGNON: from the Uco Valley, San Carlos, Paraje Altamira. Height of the vineyards 1100 meters above sea level. PETIT VERDOT: from Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Los Arboles District. Height of the vineyards 1100 meters above sea level
FLOORS
Great diversity of poor soils as the grapes come from different terroirs. Sandy Loam in Vista Flores, Stony in
The Trees and Calcareous Soils in Altamira.
FERMENTATION
Cold pre-fermentation maceration for 2 days at 8° C in stainless steel tanks. Maximum fermentation temperature 28°C. Maceration between 18 and 24 days. Alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts. 100% Malolactic Fermentation.
BREEDING
Aged in French Oak Barrels for 12 months, 60% new, medium toast. Natural Clarification.
TASTING NOTES
Intense Violet Red Color, Very complex nose, which reveals aromas of spices, candied red fruits, cinnamon and chocolates. Palate with very good volume and structure, great silkiness, hints of bitter chocolate, and a sucrose and persistent finish.
