Angelica Zapata Malbec Alta (4 botellas x 750cc)
$194.00 USD
WINE DESCRIPTION
The matriarch of the family, Angélica Zapata, a strong educator and director of the rural school in the area, instilled in her children the culture of study, work and reflection throughout the generations. Although Angelica died young, she passed on to her children her vision that Argentina's natural resources and its people were destined for greatness. Her son, Nicolás Catena Zapata, managed to position Argentine wine among the best wines in the world.
The grapes for the production of this wine come from the “Angélica” Vineyard, located south of the Uco Valley.
Extreme height, great light intensity, stony soils with excellent drainage. Low yields, wines of extraordinary concentration, with incredibly soft and velvety tannins. South of the Uco Valley, considered the “Napa Valley” of Argentina.
Harvest 2017 to present.
